At Work, I'm Hispanic.

I’m black and I’m proud! At work, I’m Hispanic. So I am anything you want me to be! As a child I knew my identification was different from a cultural perspective. I never got along with the African American girls so I never associated myself with being "black American."

I struggled with having a sense of belonging. My piece of advice for anyone who is trying to understand who they are and where they fit in life is to PRAY. Pray for confidence, guidance, and clarity.
