Dear Whomever,
Please stop asking me how I made my hair curly! It grows on my head. Oh, and please don't tell me he made my hair curly because I have Puerto Rican blood running through my body! I am not too sure why everyone wants to untangle my roots. I can understand with the natural hair movement going on over the previous years and all the amazing products geared towards curly hair, but this doesn't replace the fact that girls such as myself do exist with thick, curly hair. We had this hair before the movement of being chemical free was a "thing."
I was born with dark curly hair and thanks to society, I am always reminded of my hair. I don't have to do anything special or anything for that matter to get my hair the way it is. Honestly, I just use water to keep my hair in tact! If we learn to love ourselves, we can teach others to do the same through our example and teach others to accept who we are and what we come with. I must say, I do have a routine to keep my curls: healthy, frizz-free, and light.
Do you use anything to get your hair curly?
P.S. Perhaps if you use anything to get your hair curly, you can share your products and tips for those who may be wondering how to get their hair curly.
